EXCURSIONS

This is a mystical place where nature is lush and fertile. The surrounding area is full of important Etruscan archaeological finds, making it a land of great charm and mystery.

The excellent and genuine cuisine that is savored in the numerous area restaurants is characterized by unique flavors and is enhanced by the typical local oil and wine.

Easy excursions are possible to the nearby woods of Monti Cimini, Monte di Cetona or Monte Amiata or to the lakes of Bolsena (just 12 km) and Trasimeno, to Civita di Bagnoregio and to the spas of Viterbo, Saturnia and San Casciano dei Bagni .

Straddling the three most beautiful regions of Italy - Lazio, Tuscany and Umbria guests can easily visit, in addition to the city of Orvieto, the most beautiful art cities of central Italy: Sovana, Saturnia, Pitigliano, Todi, Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto, Gubbio, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza, Arezzo, Siena and, just over an hour, Florence and Rome.

If you prefer a whole day for yourself, the small church of the villa, the Belvedere, the large swimming pool surrounded by old trees or the cellar dug into the tuff will offer the vibrant emotions of a holiday in solitude.
